Ancient Yogic Ways to Connect To Your Baby in The Womb Throughout Pregnancy (video)
“You learn more from hundred twentieth day to the seventh month than you learn in seventy years of your life.” –Yogi Bhajan
During pregnancy, everything you think, feel, and experience is passed on to your child through the womb. This period is crucial to developing a magical and intelligent individual, and your role is to remain in harmony and balance in order to provide the child with belief systems built on respect, appreciation, and love. If you settled into a daily meditation practice before conceiving, pregnancy is a time to go deeper and expand into greater gratitude and connection. If you have not established a meditation practice and you are pregnant, start now by incorporating any of the techniques discussed in this book. Kundalini Yoga and Meditation is the fastest way to let go of fear, guilt, and insecurities that may otherwise be passed on to your child.
During motherhood, you will have to consciously face the belief systems that were passed down through your family regarding nurturing. Your ability to remain stable will be constantly tested by a child capable of bringing all your neurotic tendencies to the surface. As long as you remain awake and aware, any habitual negative parenting behaviors passed down from previous generations can be faced and eliminated. You can heal the past web of expectations, needs, and miscommunication that occurred by taking a deeper look at the way your mother treated you and the way her mother treated her. In order to heal these webs, it is important to not habitually react in the same manner. Time heals all wounds, but the hard and holy work of daily self-psychology and meditation works much faster.
The Importance of the 120th Day of Pregnancy
I believe that the subject I am going to explain here is by far the most vital and ancient yogic information available to mothers. It is not a mainstream topic, but it will be in future generations. Yogi Bhajan taught that the soul enters the body on the one hundred and twentieth day in the womb, which is around four months. The period up to four months of pregnancy may be an emotional time where the mother feels overweight, insecure, nauseous, excited, and scared. This is the time she must choose to fully accept the soul that will enter her body or not. According to Creating the Aquarian Child Manual, the time between conception and the 120th day is when the woman should be consciously meditating and connecting to a high-energy Being still outside her body, making her body and mind as pure as possible, and increasing her radiance through yoga and meditation.
This is because she needs to gain as much energy as she can so that on the one hundred and twentieth day, when the soul enters her body, her auric field will be bright and large enough to attract a high vibrational child. There are thousands of souls that want to come to Earth, and they will be battling to make it into a body. On this day a woman must have the highest vibrational frequency to attract a similar energy field. From the 120th day until the day of birth, the mother creates the neuronal patterns that will affect the child for the rest of their life. The time in the womb is by far the most important period of a child’s existence because it creates a template that will affect the child’s tendencies and patterns for years to come.
It is extremely important to know what day you conceived your child so that you will be able to track which day the 120th day falls on. The day that you have sex or receive in-vitro fertilization and conceive is day one. If you have planned your pregnancy out in the way described earlier in this book, then noting this day should be easy. It gets a little bit tricky when you have been sexually active daily to conceive. Up until the 120th day, you may not want to tell the public that you are pregnant because of attracting unwanted thoughts or energies. An example of this would be a boss that subconsciously does not want you to have a baby and may unintentionally be pulling you back to the office. On the 120th day, you want to feel as beautiful and radiant as you can by meditating, walking in nature, and thinking very positive thoughts. This a good day to have a party surrounded by loved ones and to receive blessings and prayers for your new soul. I have included information on a blessingway ceremony as an option to celebrate and feel like a queen. The 120th day of pregnancy is a time that you can call in a giver, a healer, or a saint. Even if you don’t believe this theory, it can’t hurt to remain open-minded, feel good, and think positive thoughts around this time or during the fourth month of pregnancy.
After the 120th Day
Up until the 120th day, talk to the soul that you want to bring down, and after that day, speak to the soul that is inside of you. When you communicate with the baby in your womb, make sure to explain what life on earth is like in all details so that the baby feels comfortable when they arrive. You will want to speak to your child throughout the day, and knowing the sex is vital to doing this so you can teach them preferences and relate differently. Give the baby specific details about your schedule, home, neighborhood, chores, relationships, and feelings. Tell them where the grocery store is and who is speaking to you, and explain why you do things in a certain way. Play mantras or soft music for the child. When you do this, you are explaining life on earth to a person who has possibly never been here and who is likely a highly advanced Being.
Yogi Bhajan said, “When a mother is pregnant, the kind of soul she can accept depends on her mental attitude. And then there is another beauty that within the realm of your belly, which is your pregnancy, you can totally transform the soul. The soul is pure and has nothing to do, but the subtle body carries the karma of the previous life. A mother can totally purify the subtle body.” The child brings its own personality and karma when he or she enters the womb, but the mother with directed emotion, thoughts and actions can help to clear the path of the child during pregnancy.
Meditating during pregnancy will help to do this and so will thinking good thoughts throughout the day. During my second pregnancy, after the fourth month, I began to persistently think about Kundalini Yoga and Meditation, which is something I was not familiar with before. I found the nearest class and went weekly. Without understanding why I was doing it at the time, I compulsively meditated daily and went on to become a teacher of this ancient yogic science following the birth of my baby. The reason I did this is because the soul that entered my body was asking me to. She brought the teachings with her to me and ultimately changed my destiny. Any child who enters a woman will bring their own set of belief systems, energy, finances, and karma that can change the dynamics of the entire family unit. The woman, however, can positively affect the child in the womb and ultimately change the baby’s destiny through right actions and thoughts.
The Seventh Month of Pregnancy
The time between the 120th day and the seventh month is the most important period during pregnancy because it forms the fundamental personality of the child. If the mother is incredibly reactive, the child will likely be too. Any neurosis or glitches in the mother’s system will be passed on to the baby especially during this period of time. The people and personalities she is with, emotions she feels, and her environmental surroundings all matter. At the end of the sixth month and beginning of the seventh month is a time when something Yogi Bhajan called the “Acid Bath” occurs for males. During this window, hormones that were once needed in primitive times for hunting and gathering cover the brain. These hormones literally desensitize the male, energetically freeze half of the brain, and create primitive reactions that are no longer required in modern society.
The female does not receive these hormones, which makes her more likely to be connected, intuitive, and sensitive. You can help to develop these qualities in the male by completing a specific meditation throughout the pregnancy called the Adi Shakti. The mantra helps the man become creative, less self-centered, and more intuitive in many aspects of life. The meditation can also be done during the pregnancy if you have a girl to enhance the primal power of the Shakti energy and help her to become aware of her destiny. The “Pootaa Maataa Kee Asees” is a mantra you can play during pregnancy and throughout childhood to invoke protection around the child. The mantra “Akal” helps the soul adjust and is important to play in the background after birth to ease the transition. You can choose any meditation or mantra in this book to chant throughout pregnancy. They will all benefit you; however, the Adi Shakti meditation is done for the specific reasons above.
Yogi Bhajan said, “It has been found out that in 60% of all pregnancies the woman suffers physical and mental setbacks. This is quite a serious situation. It has also been found that it doesn’t matter how educated our society is, 40% of the children suffer setbacks by an unprepared pregnancy. Normally, there are tremendous changes, which bring deficiency in the character of a child when a woman who is not mentally prepared to handle pregnancy or married life uses the pregnancy and the child as a tantrum to get away from responsibilities. This gives such a weak mind to the child; she damages the child to the extent of making him insecure for up to 60% of the rest of the life.” Pregnancy should be taken very seriously as it is a sacred and holy job to bring new souls onto this planet. Don’t use your children as an excuse to not live your life fully.
A conscious conception and pregnancy is a time of deep internal devotion. To love yourself and another this much is a revolutionary act. If more women began to birth consciously, the entire planet would be affected, because when the woman holds a higher vibration so will the child. Yogi Bhajan said that if women healed their own neurosis and insecurities, within two generations there would be no war on earth. Your frequency matters because the life of the child you are bringing in matters more than you will ever know. Your simple act of self-love and reverence creates a new template that could dramatically switch a familial pattern that has been passed down for centuries. Woman, know thy power.
