The first time I realized that the elements are a part of our internal and external spiritual journey was in a Vipassana meditation center in the woods in northern California. It was created by a man from India, S.N. Goenka, who opened spiritual centers across the world for the purpose of holding three and ten-day silent meditation courses.
I could not look at another person, read, exercise or use the Internet for ten days. The silence was torturous, but I did learn a lot about myself. The experience helped me to realize that each of the elements discussed here can be felt pulsating through our bodies.
Are you ready to improve your life? Sick of feeling angry and neurotic? Let me help you with these three simple ways to reduce anxiety. Watch the video below to learn more.
What does breathe and meditation do to change your life???…..You will have more peak experiences throughout the day, times of insight, and a deeper connection to your world. Your concentration on tasks at work or at home will increase, your ability to make decisions will improve, and you will learn more efficiently. If you want to correctly interpret reality and have a bright, powerful, and uncluttered personality, you need to start a meditation practice.
Walking Meditation: While walking, tell your womb that you are one hundred percent ready to conceive now and fully behind your decision. Honor your reproductive system not with demands but with respectful guidance. While walking, you can call upon the Angel of Fertility for additional support throughout your journey. Do this exercise daily to remain connected and give your system permission to become pregnant.
Breathing White Light: While lying on your back, take deep breathes into your abdomen, expanding up to your lungs. With each inhale, draw the white light into your womb. When you are doing this, you are taking the attention out of your head and directing the energy to another part of your body. Let your body know that it is now your sacred mission to become pregnant and you are fully ready to consciously bring a child into this world.
If you don’t know what the reproductive system looks like, you might want to get a picture of it so that you can actually visualize how the egg and sperm come together during conception and feel this in your body.
Just three to five years ago I had no idea what meditation was. I knew I wanted to feel better – and I knew for sure I was ready to connect to a higher source – but I didn’t know how. Now I meditate over an hour a day, cannot wait to wake up before the sun to do this, and am constantly connected to Spirit. I went from zero to one hundred. I also went from being over-emotional, clingy and disorderly to having a higher self-esteem, healthier relationships and overall better life. Meditation changed me. Let me tell you how….
When I became interested in spirituality I knew I was ready to learn and grow, but I didn’t know where to start. A friend told me about a practice called Vipassana from India. I was ready to try anything at that point so I signed up for a 10 day “retreat” (ha!) in a secluded residence. We could not speak or look at anyone in the eyes for 10 freakin days! We sat in a room for 12 hours a day in complete silence. I naturally went a bit crazy and knew that this practice wasn’t for me. They recommended that we sit silently in the morning and the evening from that point onward, which felt stifling. I think it is hard for anyone to sit still this long and assume that thoughts won’t come, dont you? If I was going to meditate I wanted to feel energetic about it so I kept praying that a practice would find me that would match my desire……
Beyond the planetary fluctuations and menstrual cycles we also have 11 moon centers that fluctuate every 2.5 days. Men only have one moon center at their chin, which should ideally be covered with hair in order to ground and stabilize the male. Women on the other hand are constantly moving in their emotions like the oceans and its tides. The benefit of knowing which moon cycle you are in is that this understanding provides clarity as to why your moods fluctuate so much.
Knowing what moon center you are in will help you to plan what to do in activities and life. It will also make you feel significantly less crazy as to why you may be moody, sad, focused, in love or insecure. Knowing yourself in every way is a way to gain your power back. The moon centers are subtle, but when you know which center your consciousness is residing in you will become incredibly intuitive. Yogi Bhajan said that the women who know their 11 moon centers will rule the Age of Aquarius.
“You learn more from hundred twentieth day to the seventh month than you learn in seventy years of your life.” –Yogi Bhajan
During pregnancy, everything you think, feel, and experience is passed on to your child through the womb. This period is crucial to developing a magical and intelligent individual, and your role is to remain in harmony and balance in order to provide the child with belief systems built on respect, appreciation, and love. If you settled into a daily meditation practice before conceiving, pregnancy is a time to go deeper and expand into greater gratitude and connection. If you have not established a meditation practice and you are pregnant, start now by incorporating any of the techniques discussed in this book. Kundalini Yoga and Meditation is the fastest way to let go of fear, guilt, and insecurities that may otherwise be passed on to your child.
During motherhood, you will have to consciously face the belief systems that were passed down through your family regarding nurturing. Your ability to remain stable will be constantly tested by a child capable of bringing all your neurotic tendencies to the surface. As long as you remain awake and aware, any habitual negative parenting behaviors passed down from previous generations can be faced and eliminated. You can heal the past web of expectations, needs, and miscommunication that occurred by taking a deeper look at the way your mother treated you and the way her mother treated her. In order to heal these webs, it is important to not habitually react in the same manner. Time heals all wounds, but the hard and holy work of daily self-psychology and meditation works much faster.
